Sharon Bradley, RLA, ASLA, is the President and founding 
Principal of , a landscape architecture and land planning firm committed to 
sustainable site design and urban revitalization. She has thirty years of 
experience in the field, with a deep background in community redevelopment and 
placemaking, a broad knowledge of plant materials and natural systems, and 
extensive experience in sustainable site design and construction.ÌýShe combines 
this technical expertise with her passion for social justice to create a new 
business model for community design.
Sharon has been involved in the 
creation of certified wildlife habitats, edible gardens, innovative stormwater 
management solutions, and other community-building environmental restoration 
efforts from Pennsylvania to Florida.Ìý Before establishing Bradley Site Design, 
she worked with Oehme van Sweden & Associates Landscape Architects and Keyes 
Condon Florance Architects.Ìý
She served as Chair of ASLA’s Housing 
and Community Development Professional Practice Network (PPN)Ìýand recently 
became the first landscape architect to receive the D.C. Mayor’s Environmental 
Excellence Award.
